Rider advocacy is the foundation of why we do what we do. Legal Ride is deeply connected to the Las Vegas motorcycle community, working to keep riders safer, supported, and heard long before a case ever reaches our desk.

Tipsy Tow for Motorcycles
Tipsy Tow for Motorcycles
Impairment remains one of the leading causes of serious injury and death in motorcycle crashes. That reality is exactly why we created this program.
Our team made the decision to help reduce preventable accidents by offering a safer option when a rider should not be on the road. Through our partnership with Came Tow and other local community partners, we provide a Tipsy Tow for Motorcycles program available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
If you have been drinking or feel impaired, please call. No lectures. No judgment. Just a safe way home.
- Call 702 980 9246 to arrange the tow
- You and your motorcycle get picked up
- You and your motorcycle get dropped off safely
The goal is simple. One call can prevent a crash, a hospital stay, or a life-changing tragedy.

Vigil and Memorial Support
Vigil and Memorial Support
When a rider is lost in a crash, the loss reaches far beyond one family. The entire riding community feels it. In the middle of grief, trying to plan a vigil or memorial can feel emotionally and logistically overwhelming. That is where we step in.
Legal Ride helps families and friends honor their loved one by handling many of the details that feel heavy during this time, including:
- Helping plan the vigil or memorial and coordinating with the local riding community
- Assisting with location logistics, timing, and communication so people know how to show up respectfully
- Candle, memorial card, and printed tribute coordination
- Pastoral support and helping connect families with spiritual or community leaders if desired
- Supporting the family in sharing their rider’s story in a way that reflects who they truly were
These moments are deeply personal. Our role is to ease the burden, help bring the community together, and support the family in creating a service that truly honors their rider’s life and legacy.

Rider SOS Accident Fund — Support When You Need It Most
Rider SOS Accident Fund — Support When You Need It Most
Legal Ride proudly supports Rider SOS Accident Fund, a local nonprofit built for riders by riders that steps in after serious motorcycle crashes to help injured riders and the families of fallen riders. The mission of Rider SOS is to make sure no rider has to face the aftermath of a crash alone.
Rider SOS provides practical, no-cost assistance so riders and their families can focus on healing and recovery, not scrambling to cover everyday needs. The organization is volunteer-run and operates on a completely fee-free basis, meaning every dollar donated goes directly to helping riders in need.
Rider SOS Accident Fund may assist with:
- 100% Fee Free Fundraising
- Durable medical equipment loans, including wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs, and more, so injured riders have what they need without added expense
- Transportation support, including rides to appointments or help managing mobility challenges
- Financial assistance for things like bills, utilities, groceries, or basic needs during recovery
- Emotional support and practical help for families of riders who didn’t survive their crash
- Community outreach programs like holiday support and toy drives for families still struggling after an accident
What makes Rider SOS special is the community behind the support. Riders help riders by donating equipment, volunteering their time, and raising funds through events and drives, all with the understanding that one crash can change a life in an instant.
The goal is simple: take some of the weight off so injured riders and their families can focus on healing instead of financial stress or logistical burdens after a serious crash.

Skill Building and Riding Clinics
Skill Building and Riding Clinics
The best case is the crash that never happens. That is why we put real energy into rider training.
Legal Ride hosts free and low-cost motorcycle safety clinics for local riders. Each clinic blends classroom learning with practical riding drills, covering topics like:
- Street riding strategies
- Motorcycle ergonomics and comfort
- Body position and bike control
- Cornering lines and apex improvement
- Proper braking
Clinics are typically held monthly. Follow us on Facebook for current schedules. To arrange a private training with yourself and a few friends, call Tawnya or Damon directly to set up a date that works for everyone.

Track Days
Track Days
The street is a terrible place to test your limits. The track is built for it.
Public roads come with unpredictable risks, cross traffic, distracted drivers, poor road conditions, and variables you cannot control. Pushing your skills in that environment can turn a small mistake into a serious injury.
Track days offer a safer alternative.
We work with reputable track day providers to help riders get onto closed courses designed for skill development. These environments remove everyday traffic hazards and give riders the space to focus on technique, awareness, and control.
On a proper track, riders benefit from:
- No cross traffic, intersections, or oncoming vehicles
- Controlled entry and exit points with trained staff
- Consistent, high-quality pavement and predictable conditions
- Runoff areas designed to reduce the risk of serious injury
- Structured riding groups based on skill level
- Coaching from experienced instructors who understand rider progression
From a safety standpoint, this matters.
Riders who train in controlled environments tend to develop better throttle control, braking technique, cornering lines, and situational awareness. Those skills translate directly to safer riding on the street.
From a legal perspective, we see the difference.
Many of the most serious motorcycle accidents happen when riders are forced to react to hazards outside their control. Track training allows riders to build the kind of decision-making and control that can help avoid or reduce the severity of real-world crashes.
It also reinforces an important point. Riders are not reckless by default. Most are actively working to improve their skills and ride responsibly. That matters when cases are evaluated and when narratives are being shaped by insurance companies or opposing counsel.
At Legal Ride, we support anything that helps riders become more skilled, more confident, and safer on the road. Track days are one of the best ways to do that.
If you have never been on a track or if you are looking to improve your riding, we can help connect you with trusted providers in the Las Vegas area.

Vegas Elite Riders Facebook Community
Vegas Elite Riders Facebook Community
Legal Ride is proud to be the Founder and ongoing sponsor of Vegas Elite Riders, the largest active motorcycle Facebook group in Las Vegas.
This is not just another online group. It is a real, local riding community built for people who actually ride here. We keep the focus on Las Vegas riders and those who are part of this scene, so everything stays relevant to the roads, conditions, and experiences we all share.
No matter what you ride, cruiser, sport bike, touring bike, or anything in between, there is a place for you here.
A community built on connection
Vegas Elite Riders has grown into one of the most active and welcoming motorcycle communities in Southern Nevada. At the heart of it is our weekly Thursday night ride, the longest-running ongoing weekly ride in Las Vegas.
Every week, riders come together to:
- Meet up and connect with like-minded individuals
- Connect with other local riders
- Build real friendships that go beyond the ride
- Share knowledge, experiences, and support
- Connect with new community partner businesses
- Explore new places to ride to
- Ride together in a structured, inclusive environment
What starts as a ride often turns into something more. This community has a way of turning strangers into people who look out for each other.
Supporting riders on and off the road
We believe riding is not just about the bike. It is about the people.
Vegas Elite Riders partners with local businesses that support the riding community or are owned by riders themselves. We regularly host meetups at these locations, giving riders a chance to connect off the bike and support businesses that support them.
Many of these partners also offer exclusive discounts and perks to Vegas Elite Riders members.
It is one more way we build a stronger, more connected community both on and off the road.
More than just a group
Vegas Elite Riders is built around community first.
It is a place where riders:
- Support each other after accidents and during tough times
- Show up for each other when it matters most
- Find rides, events, and opportunities to stay involved
- Grow as riders and as people
This is not about what you ride. It is about being part of something bigger than yourself.

Community and Industry Relationships
We work closely with local dealerships and motorcycle-related businesses to support riders at every stage, from buying their first bike to building advanced skills. These relationships help us co-host events, expand training opportunities, and keep the Las Vegas motorcycle community strong.
Rider Rights and Legislation
Motorcyclists’ rights do not defend themselves.
Legal Ride shares information on rider rights in Nevada, helps educate riders about their civil liberties, and supports efforts aimed at safer, smarter laws for motorcyclists.
Damon Schuetze, Esq. serves as the only Nevada lawyer on the Motorcycle Task Force for the Nevada Department of Transportation. That role helps ensure real riders have a voice when agencies and lawmakers discuss motorcycle-related issues.
